I admit it.
Before, I used to be a bit of a snob to those people who appeared to only document their lives with their iPhone camera. They're going to regret it!
I used to scratch my head at those who chose to put Instagram photos on their blog instead of "real" photos. Can't they take the time to use a real camera?
Well, I'm here to say... I STAND CORRECTED.
I am 100% officially addicted to Instagram. I will never again say that my iPhone is not a legitimate tool for documenting our lives. In fact.... it's actually a very fun and easy way to supplement said documentation in cases when I don't feel like lugging my giant DSLR around. Duh.
I will even go as far as to say I feel like I've found a new art form. I have always loved photography. And you know I am passionate about photojournalism. Now I feel like my iphone & Instagram are just additional tools for pursuing that even further. Forgive me for taking so long to realize that.
If you're interested in keeping up with me on Instagram, you can find me at username 'modmemento'. And I would really love it if you would leave a comment on this post with your instagram name as well so I can follow you too.
I may even include a few of my *gasp*, iphone photos on this blog from time to time!
I love that the photos are squares instead of rectangles. It adds a new
challenge to think about the composition a bit differently.
And now for a dump of several photos from my "real" camera taken in February that I never got around to posting.
I'll try not to be so snobby from now on.
