I admit it.
Before, I used to be a bit of a snob to those people who appeared to only document their lives with their iPhone camera. They're going to regret it!
I used to scratch my head at those who chose to put Instagram photos on their blog instead of "real" photos. Can't they take the time to use a real camera?
Well, I'm here to say... I STAND CORRECTED.
I am 100% officially addicted to Instagram. I will never again say that my iPhone is not a legitimate tool for documenting our lives. In fact.... it's actually a very fun and easy way to supplement said documentation in cases when I don't feel like lugging my giant DSLR around. Duh.
I will even go as far as to say I feel like I've found a new art form. I have always loved photography. And you know I am passionate about photojournalism. Now I feel like my iphone & Instagram are just additional tools for pursuing that even further. Forgive me for taking so long to realize that.

I love that the photos are squares instead of rectangles. It adds a new
challenge to think about the composition a bit differently.
And now for a dump of several photos from my "real" camera taken in February that I never got around to posting.
I'll try not to be so snobby from now on.

OH MY GOSH. The picture of little guy with the dust buster - LOVE. Like - send it to the company and have them use it in magazine advertising!
From your pictures, it seems like you have a lot of reasons to smile each day.
Oh first I love them all, but those paints and that one of your little guy with the dustbuster (sigh) and the one at the table eating....love the candids!
Second, I have a droid which I have always loved, but my camera hasn't worked in forever...I think our phone contract is up and I've been wanting an iphone just for the camera!! I have heard of instagram but I'm afraid I have no earthly idea what it is - especially if you need a username! ; ) Please, educate me.....

I got my first iPhone right after Christmas (had a droid), and I'm in LOVE with it! I now take a lot more pictures than I did before. I'm even on my 2nd photo a day challenge (done by Fatmumslim) and it's been so fun! My user name on IG is @uhleeya. :)
