When I was about 6 years old, I specifically remember wanting a Hot Pink Power Wheels Jeep more than anything else in this world. Some friends of the family had one and I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Well, I never got one. But fast forward ten years and I couldn't wait to get my drivers license and take on the world!
When we saw this John Deere version on Craigslist for a steal, we knew it would make the perfect Christmas present for DR. But we actually caved and gave it to him early. We couldn't help it! Call it a lame excuse to live vicariously through him. My poor deprived childhood without a powerwheels! (Mom, I'm totally kidding) Rich people problems.
But it has been so fun to watch him on this thing. He is burning a trail in the yard and I'm loving it. He spends at least an hour each day driving around doing "yard work" and picking up sticks.
I know it's a bit extravagant, but I highly recommend this as a gift idea for any little boys in your life. And don't pay full price! Craigslist has tons of them.

So first..it's 'paradise problems' not 'rich people problems' :)
and 2nd...I COMPLETELY AGREE!
We bought our son a tractor (not the gator) when he was 1. We use to get frustrated because he didn't know how to drive it and we would end up pushing it....but fast foward 7 years....and it's been worth it's weight in gold....he STILL rides it....
And for girls..yes...the barbie jeep is a must!
