Family Silhouette Art

Last year, my talented friend Jessica from Kairos Photography took our family portraits.  One of my absolute faves from that session was one where the four of us were walking along the sidewalk holding hands.

So with the magic of Photoshop (and a blessing from the photographer), I was able to create a silhouette of us and turn it into a fun modern piece of art for our bedroom!  I won't get into a whole tutorial here but if you have Photoshop and would like to try it yourself, check out these instructions for creating a silhouette

I created my image at 16x20 inches, then ordered an oversized print from mpix.com.  I then framed it with my favorite Ikea RIBBA frame.

It's a piece I will enjoy for years to come!
